- We, SMG Youth Icons are 21 youngsters led youth group. We derive our name from the initials of our village S. Maliguda, a small village in Nabarangpur, an aspirational district of Odisha. One has to go through multiple challenges like poverty, hunger, unemployment etc. However, the lack of information is one of the biggest roadblocks for the people growing up in such locations. We have multiple cases where eligible students have to drop out because they are unaware of the support like scholarships that are being offered to them. Hence, we are running this blog to spread information about the available schemes and opportunities. There are multiple platforms in English and Hindi to offer such informational content but related Odia content is somehow missing from the internet.
